Speaking Engagements

  • I recommend Shayna Canty for Communications lead or for any role in the field of International peace and security or international affairs. I work with her at Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security and Conflict Transformation (WCAPS), and I find her to be a person of valuable insight especially in matters of conflict resolution, peacekeeping and peacemaking. She serves as the communications lead for our working group, and as her comms assistant, I learn from her expertise and she's also a very friendly person who is easy to get along well with and a natural leader.

  • Shayna is one of the most enthusiastic colleagues you'll ever meet! We worked together for the Faces of Exchange campaign, a worldwide celebration of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program's 80th anniversary. As a Content Wrtier, Shyna was fun to work with, diligent, and creative. Not to mention she is a people-person who works well in teams and highly-skilled at networking. She can work independently without a lot of oversight when needed as well. I would highly recommend her for any future career pursuits and would be happy to work with her again!
